Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Link True World (the "Service"), operated by Link True World, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you must be at least 16 years old, or have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

Sign-in is provided through third-party identity providers (such as Google or GitHub). You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your identity provider account secure. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion permanently removes your notes, replies, folders, and uploaded media.

3. Your content and license to us

You retain full ownership of the content you create on the Service — notes, replies, folders, and any images or videos you upload ("Content"). To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license ends when your Content is deleted from the Service, except for limited backup retention.

Separately, you choose a public license for each note (for example CC BY 4.0 or All Rights Reserved). That choice governs what other users may do with your Content and is displayed alongside it.

Published notes keep a public edit history: earlier versions of a published note remain viewable after you edit it. Deleting a note deletes its history.

4. Content responsibilities

You may only upload media (images and videos) that you created or have the right to use. You are solely responsible for your Content and must comply with our Community Guidelines, which are part of these Terms. Prohibited content includes, without limitation: child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance), non-consensual intimate imagery including AI-generated or manipulated media ("deepfakes"), content that infringes intellectual property rights, harassment, and spam.

5. Copyright and repeat infringers

We respond to copyright takedown notices as described in our Community Guidelines. We will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or help others do so through the Service;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass authentication or rate limits;
  • scrape or bulk-harvest content or personal data from the Service;
  • upload malware or content designed to disrupt the Service;
  • impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.

7. Payments and refunds

The Service is currently free of charge. If we introduce paid features, their price, billing terms, and refund policy will be clearly posted before you are asked to pay, and continued use of paid features will be governed by those posted terms in addition to these Terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove Content, if you violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or where required by law. Where practical we will tell you why. You may stop using the Service, and delete your account, at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Service and all Content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Content on the Service is authored by users and does not represent our views; do not rely on it as professional advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Link True World, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your Content or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence is not affected.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice on the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
