Community Guidelines

Effective date: July 12, 2026

Link True World exists to help people help other people. Everything here is written by users, in their own name, under a license they chose. These guidelines are the plain-language rules that keep that possible. They are part of our Terms of Service.

Not allowed, ever

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance. Any sexual content involving minors, real or generated, is removed, the account is terminated, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by law.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery. Including AI-generated or manipulated images and videos ("deepfakes") depicting real people without their consent.
  • Content you don't have rights to. Only upload images and videos you created or are licensed to use. The platform only hosts and renders media uploaded by its author for this reason.
  • Harassment and threats. Targeted abuse, incitement to violence, or exposing someone's private information ("doxxing").
  • Spam and deception. Bulk-posted or manipulative content, scams, phishing, malware, impersonation.
  • Illegal content under applicable law.

How to report

On any note, open the ⋯ menu → Report and describe the problem. Reports go directly to us; adding your email is optional and only used if we need to follow up. You can also email legal@linktw.com about any content, including video pages.

Enforcement

Depending on severity we remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts. Illegal material is reported to the authorities. We keep a record of enforcement actions so repeat violations escalate.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to dmca@linktw.com including:

  1. identification of the copyrighted work;
  2. the URL(s) of the infringing material on this Service;
  3. your name, address, and email;
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  5. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the material's former URL, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal district court (or, outside the US, the District of Delaware).

Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright are terminated, as stated in the Terms of Service.

Disagreement is not a violation

There are no downvotes, ratings, or edit wars here. If you think a note is wrong, write your own note responding to it. Report content only when it breaks the rules above — not because you disagree with it.
